Orbit Chandelier
Born in Manhattan and raised in Vermont, Patrick Townsend, an award-winning Brooklyn based designer, works in a variety of disciplines, including lighting, furniture design and building. Trained as an industrial designer at Pratt, he founded his namesake firm in 1998. In addition to producing its own line of lighting and furniture, Townsend Design also fabricates high-end custom furniture and interior architectural fixtures for New York's top architects and interior designers. "It is the activity and process of building that often generates new forms and ideas in my work". The minimal use of refined natural materials, are recurring themes in all of Patrick Townsend's designs.
